Rider Jamieson teamed up with Mark McGhee (Bioracer Project GO) to hit the boards of the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome on Saturday in the popular Festive Flyer event. The new pairing is one to watch. Following a few modifications to their borrowed tandem, and despite a slower than hoped for launch out of the gate, they still achieved a new personal fastest time for the kilometre event, flying around the banked turns in 1:30:73. Fellow competitors in the paracycling tandem event included an especially rapid team from Switzerland who came first. Jamieson and McGhee secured a very creditable third. According to Jamieson "it was great to get back into completion and to meet the Swiss team. They were an inspiration and I hope to follow in their footsteps one day." The same could be said of Jamieson’s inspirational performances.
