Well.........what a great night!!!

The battle at the barn produced a great night's banter and some serious effort from the club members....the event was run on handicap from the previous times on the same course and the results were a win for Big G's team, most members took time off their previous time and all made some proper efforts but the outstanding showmen on the night were Sykes and The Heid taking 1min 20sec and 1min 12sec off there times! :o with Sykes being driven by a flying remote control and some jeers from the opposition

Here are the times.........the + or - denotes against previous time.

Gordon Stead 17:32 -27 sec
Brian Johnson 21:29 -26 sec
Peter Beukelman 18:39 -12 sec
Sykes 18:43 - 1min 20 sec
George Gass 19:48 +15 sec
Jennifer Nicol 28:46 -11 sec
Steve Hillbourne 19:15 +10 sec

Jim Ryland 19:52 +55 sec
Kev Brown 17:49 - 16 sec
Alan McCall 19:07 - 3 sec
Brian Nicol 19:16 -18 sec
Stephen Cassidy 18:58 -3 sec
Natalie Hunter 22:09 +10 sec
Ian Hackney 19:54 - 1min 12 sec

Gordon's team won by a margin of 1 Min 24 Seconds.

I honestly think we are so lucky as a club to have the facilities that we have! and to think some people were against the barn :? :? :?

Well done all! :D

Hi Kev, thanks for putting all the times up. I've managed to put all the times into excel to check our arithmetic and also our copying from the whiteboard. As a result I have a couple of minor corrections.

- Sykes was 1 min 20 seconds faster than his previous league event ride.

- The winning margin was 1 minute and 24 seconds for Gordon's team.

A full break down of times is attached:

Looks like it was a great night, disappointed not to make it. Well done Big G's team, did he buy the Fish suppers in? :D

Brian, that PDF format is so much better than the XLS sheets. More of the same please!
