Re: Wanted:Winter Bike

Hello Drew, I've got a 7 speed Shimano HG-37 cassette 14-28 ratio c/w freehub, new & unused. Also a new & unused HG-40 chain suitable for 6,7 and 8 speed. Still in the bag but the joining pin is missing, must have needed it for my last winter bike as it was 7 speed. Although it's not the rat...

Re: Congratulations

Hi Hyland,

Thanks, much appreciated. :D

Gordon won the club '10' champs earlier in the season (I think it was early May).

Not sure who won the handicap '10' or the league on handicap.

All will be revealed in due course, no doubt.

Who knows what's in store for 2012 ;)

Cheers

Re: Sunday 4th

George, what's the point in having 3 separate runs?

One alternative run is ample.

C'mon guys, this isn't joined up thinking. More like daft.

Sunday 28th August, Isle of Arran.

Hi Folks, Sunday 28th August sees a return to the Isle of Arran for the Fullarton Wheelers regular Sunday Run. Meet at 9.15-9.20am at the Cal-Mac ticket office for the 9.45am sailing to Brodick. Route direction will be decided on the boat during the crossing. Forecast looks reasonable although a bre...

Re: Arran provisionally for Sunday 28th August.

Okay folks, it's on for Sunday. The forecast for Ardrossan said sunny with light showers and 22mph NW wind. The forecast for Greenock said dry, sunny and the same wind. Can't be all that bad 9.15am at the ticket office for the 9.45am sailing. If possible, I'll catch a later ferry and meet up with yo...

Re: Arran provisionally for Sunday 28th August.

I'll tell you what Gordon, you've got it all worked out. Not a minute wasted indeed! I did think of perhaps trying to better my fastest time by riding round on my TT bike some day, but not quite as soon as Sunday TT v Road bike? What do you reckon, 10 or 15 minutes quicker over the 56 miles? Cheers ...
